how do i move the software from old computer to a different computer

It's a shame the old legacy system is not supported for upgrading to a new computer

I am also using an older version of software and need to move to a newer computer. From what I understand old versions are no longer supported. 

Does anyone know how to move the application to a new / different computer?

Has anyone tried coping the entire LM directory and pasting to new computer to see if it works.
